Olly Day Road Safety Magic Show

We were very lucky to have Olly Day come to school to teach us about road safety and give us a magic show.

Some of us have seen Olly Day before at the end of the pier show in Cromer.

Olly Day told us where it is safe to cross the road.

Olly Day showed us a magic trick.

The helpers were given some reflective slap bands.

We were shown how to be bright at night.

He showed us a picture of someone's head who had got badly injured not wearing a helmet.

Olly Day put an egg in a helmet to show us how important it is to wear a helmet when we are out on our bikes and scooters.

Olly Day taught us we need to be bright at night and we need to wear safety helmets.
The show was fun.

Africa Alive 14.3.17

We went to Africa Alive

We held a desert mouse which had spines. It had adapted so predators didn't eat it.
The mouse lives in the desert.

This is a lion skull, lions are from the savannah.

This snake comes from the rainforest.

We went up to the platform to see the lions.

We saw giraffes.

The white rhino has a big horn. It is huge.

Visit to Felbrigg Hall gardens

We found a great tree to sit on and climb in.

A lot of us fitted into the tree.

This tree stump made us a brilliant pirate ship.

We sat in this area, chatted and pretended to be grown ups.

We found a toad hiding.

And made a fire!

We made hot chocolate.

Investigating at Forest School 30.1.17

We went to Felbrigg Hall again for Forest School.

We investigated using magnifying glasses.

We looked at different plant species and named them.
This one I named "Green King", I thought it looked like a Christmas tree.

We found some bugs and looked at them closely.
