PE and dressing up

Acorn Class having fun at PE running about.  They like todo running races.

Rafiq is trying to be a girl.  I don't think it worked though!

The Funeral of The Fourth Chick

Sadly one of our chicks died.  It took a long time hatching out of its shell and it did not have enough energy to survive.  We felt sad.

We buried the Fourth chick at the allotment.  We all helped to dig a big hole.

Thomas put the soil over the box.

We thought about the chick.

Thomas and Millie covered the box.
It was a sunny day at the allotment.  We looked for signs of Spring.  It was amazing what we saw.  We saw butterflies, bees, worms.  frogs in the pond and flowers.

Friday assembly

Kelly and Tabby read their work in assembly
on Friday.

Kelly was talking about what happened in school
council and what are they doing to improve the school.

Summer got the house point champion certificate.

We have a new sunflower in school.  Lilly is looking at all the holes in it.  They are for weaving lots of ribbons and bright colours through.  It should look lovely when it is finished.

The Arrival of the Eggs

Jane gave us a book of the chick life cycle.
The lady who brought the eggs, Jane told us all about them.

The eggs are getting warm not by the mother but the eggs get warm by a machine that
keep the eggs inside and warm them. The machine is called an incubator.
The eggs will hatch on Wednesday.
