Swimming at Mundesley Infant School.

This term Acorn class are going swimming at Mundesley Infant school.
We love the warm water.
Our armbands help us swim.

We gave ourselves a shower...
...It was funny.
We used woggles and belt floats to help us.
We were kicking, and splashing.

At the end of our lesson, we got some time to play with toys. We had whales, sharks, ducks, and toys that float and squirt water. We cannot wait until we go again.

Forest School

At school we are starting Forest School.

What is Forest School?
Forest School is a learning process that is long term and repeated using natural outdoor space. Forest Schools give the children a chance to develop their own learning.
During Forest School the children will be exploring, discovering and building confidence. They will be getting wet, muddy and will work together.
At Forest School children take control and will learn about what they find interesting on that day. One day they might be interested in trees, the next day they might be interested in bugs.

Acorn class went up to the allotment area last week for our first Forest School session.
We made up our own names that we use just for Forest School. This could be anything but it must be related to Forest School. My Forest School name was Miss Page Grass, Sapphire chose her Forest School name as Sapphire Blossom.

 We did lots of exploring.
