Caleb found a frog and a newt in our pond in the allotment!
The newt is a nocturnal animal so it spends much of the day under rocks,stones and in water. On land it eats insects, slugs and worms. In the water they hunt insects, tadpoles and water snails. It was a real find to catch both a frog and a newt in the same net at once!
